ProShares offer two additional VIX Futures ETF's

ETP: 04.10.2011 ProShares, the largest US issuer of inverse and leveraged ETFs, launched two new ETF’s namely the ProShares Ultra VIX Short-Term Futures ETF and ProShares Short VIX Short-Term Futures ETF on Tuesday October 4, 2011.The new ETF’s will be the latest in a long line of funds designed to offer investors exposure to market volatility.

The ProShares Ultra VIX Short-Term Futures ETF (NYSE Arca: UVXY) seeks to provide 2x the daily performance of the S&P 500 VIX Short-Term Futures Index, before fees and expenses.

The ProShares Short VIX Short-Term Futures ETF (NYSE Arca: SVXY) seeks to provide -1x the daily inverse performance of the S&P 500 VIX Short-Term Futures Index, before fees and expenses. The ETFs list on NYSE Arca yesterday.
